Day 5. Super hero!

Read the badge! Clare awarded it to Eleanor - and after today's paddle on Loch Ness she certainly deserves it - wish I had one for James too!

What's this blog all about?

Eleanor, age 11, and dad James are going to paddle in an inflatable kayak, 100km across Scotland from Loch Linnhe on the west coast, through the Caledonian Canal to Inverness on the east coast. They will be closely watched by me - Sally the support team - as they travel through sections of canal and brave the waves, (and monsters?), on Loch Ness. They set off on Friday 10th September and hope to finish a week later - fingers crossed for good weather!

"Why?" Good question! Well it's an adventure for us all, but more importantly Eleanor and James are kayaking to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. Please sponsor them and enjoy following them on their adventure.
