Day 2. Gairlochy.

We're camping next to the lock tonight. Paddling has gone well - the gale calmed down a bit in the shelter of the canal but still made for speedy paddling so it seemed no time before I spotted the Brave Duo as I cycled to meet them from Gairlochy, (on the correct side of the canal this time - why bring maps if you don't look at them). Given that we are not looking to get away from it all during this adventure, and want to be able to keep generous sponsors in touch with what we are doing I have to say there is nothing so cool as being able to blog in my tent! Eleanor has just been reading comments left on the blog - thanks for all the encouraging messages - glad you are able to follow us Jennie, and hello Cairistiona - say hello to everyone at Keills when you are back at school on Monday!
