Impressed? Definitely!! That sounds like a really scary day and the pictures tell the story perfectly. I remember paddling to an island off Barra a few years ago across a big expanse of open sea in big waves and it was terrifying. You feel so small and vulnerable in such a small boat as the waves seem to tower over you when you are in the troughs. Really well done guys!!! xxx
